SUMMARY
As an independent remote travel agent you will be booking a variety of domestic and international travel for clients for both leisure and business travel purposes. You will be able to work on travel such as vacations, cruises, all-inclusive trips, theme park experiences, weddings and honeymoons, groups, and more.
QUALIFICATIONS
● Must be 18 years of age or older
● Must be fluent in English
● Must own a smartphone and it is recommended that you own a computer - no equipment is provided
● Must have reliable and stable internet access
● Travel experience is advantageous
PAY
● This is a 1099 business opportunity with commission-based pay. Commissions are paid out twice a month.
RESPONSIBILITIES
● Complete the certification program so that you can begin to sell travel
● Watch recorded training videos and attend live training sessions, according to your availability, on Zoom
● Communicate with clients via email, phone, and text/message to establish rapport and to determine the clients’ travel needs
● Compile professional and personalized travel quotes for clients based on previous conversations with them
● Book and reserve the travel components clients select including flights, hotels, resorts (including all-inclusives), rental cars, cruises, rail transportation, activities and tours, concert tickets, theme park tickets, show tickets, sport event tickets, travel protection, and more
● Collect payments from clients over the phone and apply the payments to their reservation
● Communicate with vendors in the case of cancellations or unexpected changes to the reservation
